As we continue to grow, we are looking for an Account Manager. Someone that likes to nurture and expand existing client relationships. With over 500 customers, we have a fantastic opportunity to identify growth opportunities by delivering value. Equipped with a love for customer satisfaction, you will play a fundamental role in managing, retaining and growing our customer portfolio.
Role and Responsibilities
You will be an essential person for helping us achieve our ambitious goals in relationship building, growing our portfolio contract value and excelling in CSAT.
- Client Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring their success with monday.com.
- Account Onboarding: After a proper handover from the sales team, you will take ownership of new accounts and manage their onboarding process.
- Account Planning: Develop strategic account plans to outline goals, objectives, and action plans for the most important clients. This may include analyzing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and the risks for churn.
- Cross-Selling and Upselling: Identify opportunities to introduce additional products or services to existing clients, maximizing revenue and fostering long-term relationships. Reaching out to other teams / departments / locations that aren’t yet working with monday.com.
- Contract Renewal and Negotiation: Work on negotiating terms and conditions of contracts with clients. Ensure that agreements are mutually beneficial and align with the company's policies.
- Problem Resolution: Act as a troubleshooter and problem solver, addressing any issues or concerns raised by clients. This involves collaborating with internal teams to find suitable solutions.
- Primary Point of Contact: Serve as the main liaison between clients and the rest of the team, ensuring effective communication and a seamless customer experience.
- Innovative Thinking: Contribute actively to the company's vision by sharing ideas and thoughts for continual improvement and optimization of client experiences.
Skills and Experience
- Passion for digital tools and a strong understanding of business processes. Ideally, you have some experience with monday.com or equivalent SaaS software
- 3-5 years of experience in an Account Management role
- Fluency in Dutch and English; French is a plus.
- Excellent customer-facing and presentation skills, with the ability to establish trust and credibility.
- Positive attitude (you see problems as opportunities), empathy, and high energy for client engagement and satisfaction.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple ongoing sales cycles effectively.
